Nurses Understand What Holistic Health Care Is

According to Kathryn Lynn Trammel, there are several advantages to wholistic health treatment. It has the potential to enhance both the physical and spiritual well-being of patients. The provision of comprehensive care is a necessary component of holistic care. This research will assist nurses in comprehending the notion of holistic health care and incorporating it into their practice. Weaning patients off artificial breathing is a complicated procedure that requires an in-depth evaluation of each patient's requirements. The current research assessed the efficacy of holistic health care at six hospitals in Ahvaz, Iran, for weaning patients. Semi-structured interviews with 25 ICU staff members were used to obtain data. Qualitative content analysis was used to examine interview transcripts.

Kathryn Lynn Trammel explained that creating a conceptual model for holistic health care may assist practitioners and researchers in developing model-based applications that can be used to assess the efficacy of different health-care techniques. Furthermore, such a model may assist researchers in determining if a given strategy will be beneficial in treating a specific condition. In this sense, the notion of holistic health care may increase the quality of health care while also promoting social welfare.

Holistic health care entails meeting a broad variety of patient demands, including those of the elderly and those suffering from numerous ailments. It entails improved teamwork, coordination, and delivery of care that is more responsive to patients' needs and desires. This model uses a patient-centered process approach, concentrating on requirements elicitation and allowing authorized users to access integrated patient data as needed. This technique is also useful for delivering comprehensive health care to those suffering from mental diseases.

Kathryn Lynn Trammel disclosed, one of the distinctions between biological and holistic health care is the manner in which communication takes place. Holistic practitioners vary from biological practitioners in that they place a premium on effective communication. Communication between patients and practitioners is essential in holistic health care. The quality of communication between biomedical and holistic care practitioners is often weak. It is also critical for people to feel confident and at ease with the health care practitioner they choose. This may be accomplished through gaining a shared knowledge of each patient's circumstances and requirements.
